Established in August 2020, KRUNK KULTURE is a record label from the future by KRUNK. THANDAI is the newest compilation in the FLAVOURS OF THE EAST Series from Krunk Kulture. This compilation features cutting edge electronic music producers from India & guests from countries like France, Japan & the US. While maintaining its roots in tradition, this collection of works showcases the modern sounds of the region dabbling in styles ranging from lo-fi, chill, beats, jazz, electronica, downtempo, easy listening, future bass & lo-fi house.

FLAVOURS OF THE EAST is a tribute to the integral ingredients that continue to shape the identity and perspectives of our collective homeland. This is an investigation into the memories and markers of a culture that is bursting at the seams with what it has to say. “THANDAI” is an Indian cold drink prepared with a mixture of dry fruits, seeds, spices, rose petals, saffron, milk and sugar. Relished for it’s viscous texture and cooling effect in the body and the mind, it is a beverage often associated with Holi.
